Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website operated by NEONWORKS (the "Site"), as well as any purchase of Nixie-tube watches, desk clocks, Worldline divergence meters, and related products (collectively, the "Products") made through the Site.

By accessing the Site, browsing our catalogue, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase our Products.

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars on the Site and are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price shown at the moment you complete checkout, before payment is captured.

We accept payment by credit and debit card through Stripe, and through PayPal. Card details are never stored on NEONWORKS servers -- they are handled exclusively by Stripe under their own security and PCI-compliance regime.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including but not limited to situations involving suspected fraud, pricing errors, insufficient stock, or orders that cannot be shipped to the address provided. If we cancel an order after your payment has been captured, we will issue a full refund using the original payment method.

We ship worldwide. Standard shipping typically arrives within 7 to 25 business days; express shipping typically arrives within 3 to 7 business days. Delivery windows are estimates -- they are not guarantees, and NEONWORKS is not liable for carrier delays, customs inspections, or force-majeure events.

Title to and risk of loss for Products pass to you when the parcel is handed to the carrier (i.e. at the point of pickup at our fulfilment centre or our logistics partner's first scan). Once a tracking number is generated, ownership and responsibility for the parcel are yours.

NEONWORKS warrants that its Products will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery.

• Nixie tubes are consumables: gradual brightness loss over years of use is a natural characteristic of the technology and is not covered by this warranty.
• Damage caused by water, impact, unauthorised disassembly, modification, or use of an incorrect power supply is not covered.
• Cosmetic wear, strap damage, and battery degradation are not covered.

All content on the Site -- including but not limited to product photography, video, written descriptions, the NEONWORKS name and logo, the TANZANITE, BACK TO FUTURE, and WORLDLINE brand marks, circuit designs, firmware, and the layout of every page -- is the property of NEONWORKS or its licensors and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and design law.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, transmit, or commercially exploit any portion of the Site without our prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial use of the Site's content (e.g. sharing product images on social media with attribution) is welcome.

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to harass or harm other users, to interfere with the operation of the Site, to attempt unauthorised access to our systems, to scrape or harvest data at scale, or to circumvent any security or rate-limiting measure we have put in place.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NEONWORKS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or any Product purchased through it.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of certain damages; in those cases the limitations above apply to the maximum extent permitted.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

The parties shall attempt to resolve any dispute arising under these Terms through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may submit the matter to the competent People's Court located at the domicile of NEONWORKS.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the law, or our Products. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the current version came into effect. Material changes will be announced on the Site and, where appropriate, communicated by email to registered users.

Your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a change, please stop using the Site and contact us if you have an open order.
